I’m especially charmed by the way they keep flashing the camera on the woman he was cheating on his wife with for quite some time while he was mayor of NYC.
And he’s talking about how inexperienced Obama is when Palin has ZERO experience at the national level and if McCain died she would be president. WHAT’S UP WITH THE DOUBLE STANDARDS, PEOPLE!!!?????

It was the words ‘supports the teaching of creationism’ that put me off her, even before everything else started coming out. Do you think she’s some kind of elaborate plant by the opposition?
What? there’s 600,000 or so people in Alaska – there are more people in my suburb of Dallas than her whole state? That makes her totally qualified. Totally. I’m also impressed by her pretty, shiny hair – that makes her even more qualified . . . because as we all know, shiny hair means you have bigger brain.
Or maybe it’s bigger boobs?

For the record: commenting on blogs at 4AM, after staying up all night watching that stuff, might not be the best idea.

The really scary thing is that it is easy to see how people who WANT to believe, COULD believe after hearing her talk. There were so many oboxious untruths about what is happening and what has happened that it was hard to remember reality while Rudy and Sarah were talking. Throw in a few very pointed barbs about Obama and You really have to WANT to remember what has been going on for the last 8 years. It is more important now than ever not to let down your guard! Stay strong and stay focused!
Word!! That’s all I have to say. Word! And I also would like to point out that if this were a democratic candidate, the other side would be ripping her to shreds for how awful of a mother she must be.
As the mother of a child with developmental disabilities, I can only say that she has no idea what she is in for.. I don’t care how competent she is. I can not imagine how she will possibly do her job as a mother and her job as vice president. That kind of committment is mutually exclusive if you are committed to either job fully. I did work, and we did survive, but I did not have my country depending on me. If that had been the case I would have folded everytime the helpers didn’t arrive on time- and there were many! This is a crazy idea- she will be very relieved not to be elected!
I obviously disagree. You commenters may not like the person but the speech was polished. The VP is the person used to attack the opposition in campaigns and it has been the media comparing her to Obama when BO should be compared to JMc. Whether you like the fact or not that Alaska has less than 600,000 people it has a budget of $11 billion and there are executive decisions that need to be done. SP as a two term mayor and active Governor for almost two years did quite a lot for her state. Quite frankly Sarah has more executive experience than BO, JB or John McCain minus his 23 years in the Navy, different executive state though. She is also the only small business owner on either ticket.
Unlike BO’s speech which was met with tepid response from those that study politics, the speech by SP was well receive even by CNN and MSNBC.

No man running for office has ever been asked or discussed if it creates a harm to his family. No one has asked BO if being President would hurt his ability to be a good father to his youngest child. You can be sure that there is more than adequate care for any family member in office.
