So Floyd lost. He has but one appeal left.
After the dopers got axed from the tour this year and the winners came in within 30 seconds of each other my perspective on Floyd’s case changed. There are no miracle performances. There is determination and grit and pain but nothing is going to rocket you into the lead. You might be able to gut it out and hold on even though you have a bloodied and bruised hiney but you aren’t going to shoot out in front.
I’m disappointed in Floyd but the finish of the Tour was so fantastic this year that I am hopeful for cycling. It might actually stay clean and sober and show us many more exciting finishes.
If you haven’t seen the real story on the real clean athletes then click here. You won’t be sorry.
i can’t believe i missed talk like a pirate day. it is my favorite thing to do. i’m so sad.
i agree, makes sense, but what about Lance?
It’s all so unfortunate.
Wow. I had no idea that’s how long it would take a nautural cyclist.
I respectfully disagree. There are great performances by clean cyclists. And just because Floyd lost, doesn’t mean he’s dirty.
Um, that link is to The Onion…. isn’t that the fake news? No one can loose 45% of their body mass and still live… esp when they started out at 4% body fat.
i have never understood the blind (read: rabid) faith people have in athletes they’ve never met. it’s not just the yanks. aussies do it, too. the “no way we’re guilty” thing. no one has trouble believing the other people are guilty.
the talk over here from cyclists is much more frank (as long as it’s not about their own). no one is surprised that floyd is guilty. and you’re right, there are no miracles.
