His match.com profile says “I love to read”. Huh?? He claims he just read the Da Vinci Code (it seems everyone in the world but me has read it) and he loved it because it explored controversial topics about religion and society. He also claims to read the daily newspaper.
hmmm…. what to do? Actually I am planning on seeing him at least one more time. There is some possibility that he is shy or something plus I need to get to the bottom of his divorce story – it is very odd. However, if I have to drag a conversation out of him one more time or if we can’t get off boring topics I’m throwing in the towel.
i havent read it either, although i want to. i just want to know what the fuss is all about. i love reading and have never understood why anyone would get riled up over a book, or any sharing of ideas for that matter. maybe thats from being raised in the 70s and 80s, after the revolution in the 60s, our parents taught my generation that you can discuss anything!
Er. “Love to read” and “The DaVinci Code” are mutually exclusive if you ask me. I could not get through that book because it is so.badly.written it’s ridiculous.Have you read my post about internet dating, called “Dates with Nuts”? I’ll send you the link if you haven’t. 🙂
Panthergirl,Yes, I have read your posts on internet dating and I was right there with you – suffering and then laughing myself sick. What else can we do!??
