Need some Help for a Friend

My friend who came to cheer for me at the SF 1/2 Marathon is about to have shoulder surgery. She is trying to prepare to live life somewhat one-handed and needs some information on certain products. I’m hoping some of you can help.

1). If you have used Yankz are you able to do them 1 handed?
2). Do you know of any sports bras that have a front closure? This person wears a “B” cup so Enell won’t work

PS – to Stronger – this friend is now signed up for a Muddy Buddy in 2008 and she is holding you responsible – you had way too much fun doing your mud run.

TIA, everyone!

I’ll take full accountability…just wait until I write all about the muddy buddy in a couple of weeks!

runners world just did a big sport bra article for this months ed. and there was a front zip bra.

  4. Hrm. Well. Back when I broke my arm, I remember that regular bras were a touch easier than sports bras – but I sorta put camis with shelf bras on and kept them on for as long as people around me could stand it (I slept in them). But with shoulder surgery, she’ll need regular bras with front clasps – try Victoria’s.

Also, her pants will be tricky to do-up for a little while. tell her to find all her elastic-waisted and velcro closure pants, wear those for as long as it takes.

She’ll need a LOT of pillows to get comfy in her bed at night.

Yankz are fine, but you still need hands to shoehorn your shoes on. Flip flops, I think, will be preferable. I made my husband tie my shoes.

Also, eating may be problematic – depending on which arm she will lose. Also, toilet will be problematic.

Um, yeah – ask me anything, I’ll tell you what I know.

is this about those special kinds of ‘toys’ for mommies?
